Job Description
Interim Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) Support
- Madison, WI (3-to-4-month assignment)
Pay:
$60.00 per hour (Travel cost / per diem if applicable) Aluminum die cast production facility: Automated, robotic die casting and machining operations. 3. Scope of Work- Daily onsite supplier support
- Shortage containment & recovery
- Equipment downtime & maintenance support
- Corrective action management
- Process & quality system verification
- Communication & reporting 4. Deliverables
- Daily production and shortage report
- Weekly performance summary
- Corrective action tracking log
- Audit reports
- Recovery plans
- Final summary report 5. Required Skills & Qualifications
- SQE or quality engineering background in manufacturing
- Knowledge of die casting and machining processes
- Experience with
IATF 16949
systems- Strong communication and problem-solving skills 6. Performance Expectations
- Improve production stability
- Reduce downtime-related shortages
- Ensure timely corrective action closure 7.
