Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a Process Engineer to support and optimize manufacturing operations in a high-volume industrial production environment. This role focuses on improving production efficiency, reducing waste, supporting new product launches, and driving continuous process improvements. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in manufacturing processes, data analysis, and tooling development while working closely with cross-functional teams to maintain quality and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, improve, and optimize manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, improve quality, and reduce scrap/waste. Design and oversee production tooling for new product launches, ensuring successful implementation from testing through full production. Analyze production data using statistical tools and process monitoring systems to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions. Support day-to-day manufacturing operations by resolving technical process issues and improving production performance. Collaborate with production, quality, engineering, and sales teams to ensure customer requirements are met. Train operators and team members on new processes, procedures, and equipment updates. Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a strong focus on workplace safety. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance and reduce manufacturing costs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field. 3-5+ years of experience in manufacturing process engineering or a similar industrial environment. Experience with CAD software, process simulation tools, and data analysis. Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and continuous improvement methodologies. Strong troubleshooting, project management, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally across multiple departments.
Work Environment:
On-site role within a manufacturing facility. Combination of office, technical, and production floor responsibilities. Requires collaboration with operations, quality, engineering, and commercial teams.
Pay:
$85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
