  • Industrial Communications We're looking for an Entry-Level Engineer to begin their journey with our Communications Team, the group responsible for all industrial communication software across our company.
This is not your typical full-stack job — this is about working in the guts of the code that keeps the industrial world running. You'll start out writing and running tests, digging deep into the world of industrial communications. Testing isn't a side task here — it's a core part of our success. The reliability of our products depends on it. By ensuring our software works in the toughest real-world environments, you'll be directly contributing to the trust our customers place in us. As you gain experience, you'll have opportunities to broaden your responsibilities, explore more of the communications stack, and contribute in new ways within the team — while always building on the foundation of testing and product reliability. Key Responsibilities Run and expand test cases to validate industrial communication protocols such as EtherNet/IP, Modbus, PROFINET, BACnet, and others Execute and document results of test plans to ensure software reliability Collaborate with senior engineers to reproduce, analyze, and troubleshoot issues Learn how industrial communication protocols are implemented and used on the factory floor Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and product quality Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) Proficiency in C (you'll be working directly with embedded and low-level code) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Interest in embedded systems, networking, or industrial communications Eagerness to learn and contribute as part of the communications team Nice to Have Familiarity with scripting languages (Python preferred) Understanding of unit testing concepts Basic knowledge of networking fundamentals or industrial protocols About Us For over 30 years, we've been solving industrial automation and networking challenges with solutions that are fast, reliable, and easy to use.
