Job Description

About the Role As a Process Optimization Engineer, you will serve as a catalyst for operational excellence by designing systems that maximize efficiency and minimize waste. You will leverage your expertise in data modeling and Lean methodologies to transform complex workflows into high-performing production environments. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive workflow analyses and time studies to uncover hidden bottlenecks and drive productivity. Architect optimized facility layouts and production systems that directly increase throughput while reducing operational overhead. Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean and Six Sigma frameworks to achieve measurable performance gains. Author and maintain standardized work instructions and SOPs to ensure consistent, high-quality output. Utilize advanced simulation and capacity modeling tools to inform strategic resource planning and long-term scaling. Drive the integration of cutting-edge material handling technologies, including AGVs and AMRs, to modernize shop-floor logistics. Apply human-factors engineering principles to enhance workplace ergonomics and safety standards. Qualifications Required Skills Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Proven ability to synthesize complex data sets into actionable insights for cross-functional stakeholders. Demonstrated experience applying Lean or Six Sigma methodologies to solve real-world manufacturing challenges. Strong project management capabilities with a track record of leading initiatives from concept to successful implementation. Preferred Skills Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher. Proficiency in CAD software for facility layout and process design. Prior experience in high-volume manufacturing, logistics, or complex operations environments. Technical familiarity with automated material handling systems and digital transformation tools.
