Mechanical TechnicianSalary:
$40K - 62

Birmingham, ALPosition OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of machinery and equipment through troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining product quality and manufacturing efficiency.

Key ResponsibilitiesPerform troubleshooting and repair of mechanical systems and equipment.

Conduct routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.

Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment.

Utilize hydraulic and pneumatic systems for various applications.

Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings for equipment assembly and repair.

Use CAD software to assist in the design and modification of mechanical components.

Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in all work processes.

Perform quality control checks on equipment and products to ensure they meet specifications.

Calibrate and adjust equipment settings to maintain precision and efficiency.

Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to improve manufacturing processes.

QualificationsProven experience as a Mechanical Technician or similar role.

Strong troubleshooting and repair skills in mechanical systems.

Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Proficiency in CAD software for design and modifications.

Understanding of quality control procedures and safety standards.

Experience with equipment calibration and maintenance.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
