Full Job Description Job Title:

Mechanical Technician Job Description This position involves functional testing of mechanical components to ensure compatibility and fitment, as well as drawing and design validation for functionality and safety. The role also includes data collection and report documentation. While solar or construction experience is preferred, it is not mandatory. Responsibilities Conduct functional testing of mechanical components for compatibility and fitment. Validate drawings and designs for functionality and safety. Perform data collection and documentation of reports. Test new components for tracker systems and various engagements. Set up new bracket systems with various beam thicknesses. Use fasteners and tools to ensure proper assembly. Act as the final quality check for finalized products. Serve as a liaison from the field. Essential Skills Experience in solar, construction, or automotive industries. Proficiency in blueprint reading. Computer skills for documentation and report writing. Ability to use hand tools such as drills, impact guns, hand wrenches, and measuring instruments. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in general labor and construction. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fremont, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $40.00/hr.
