Who We Are Looking For Mechanical Engineering Technician Purpose:
Support the assembly, maintenance, and testing of mechanical systems and components to ensure proper functionality and performance.
Activities include:
Assembling and installing mechanical components and systems. Performing routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs. Conducting tests and troubleshooting mechanical issues. Reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics. Assisting engineers with prototype development and modifications. Maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas in proper condition. Assist with CNC machine operation and clean up. On occasion, working extended hours to meet tight deadlines
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED 2+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical assembly or maintenance. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Able to stand and work on your feet for long durations Periodically lift 50+ pounds. Basic computer skills. (Microsoft 365) Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain authorization from the U.S. Department of State. Desired Associates degree or technical certification in Mechanical Engineering Technology or a related field. Previous experience working with tight tolerance assemblies. Soldering and electrical assembly experience. Cable harness assembly experience.
