As needed, typically 40-45 hours per week We are seeking several Mechanical Engineering Technicians to support manufacturing, engineering, troubleshooting, testing, and production equipment needs in a hands-on technical environment. These are direct hire opportunities with multiple openings across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts.
Available Shifts:
1st Shift Schedule options available within the window of 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM Standard 8-hour shift 2nd Shift Starts no later than 3:30 PM 8-hour shift Shift differential: $2.25/hour 3rd Shift Starts no later than 11:00 PM 8-hour shift Shift differential: $2.00/hour
Responsibilities:
Support mechanical engineering, manufacturing, and production teams with troubleshooting and technical support Assist with equipment, tooling, fixtures, and process improvements Perform testing, evaluation, documentation, and technical problem-solving Work with engineering drawings, mechanical components, and manufacturing documentation Support production floor needs and help resolve equipment or process-related issues Partner with engineering, operations, maintenance, and quality teams Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to assigned work Follow all safety, quality, and production standards One role is more desk-based and involves approximately 80% desk work , with the remaining time supporting technical and production-related needs.
Qualifications:
Mechanical technician, engineering technician, manufacturing technician, or related hands-on technical experience Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, work instructions, and technical documentation Experience supporting manufacturing equipment, mechanical assemblies, tooling, testing, or troubleshooting preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Comfortable working with cross-functional teams Ability to work onsite in Anoka, MN Open to overtime as needed
Preferred Experience:
Manufacturing or production support experience Mechanical troubleshooting Tooling, fixtures, test equipment, or process support Engineering technician or maintenance technician background Experience in a regulated or high-quality manufacturing environment
Compensation:
$31.00 - $33.00/hour based on experience 2nd shift differential: $2.25/hour 3rd shift differential: $2.00/hour
