Job Summary:

Industrial Builders is seeking a motivated and skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team onsite in Buffalo, Missouri. This role will focus on the assembly of maintenance platforms for data center cooling towers, supporting critical systems that keep high-performance data centers operating efficiently and reliably. The Mechanical Technician will be responsible for hands-on mechanical work, including fabrication, welding, and assembly, while working closely with project teams in a fast-paced industrial environment. K Key Responsibilities:

Assemble maintenance platforms and mechanical structures for data center cooling tower systems. Perform mechanical fabrication, fitting, and assembly work. Conduct welding and basic fabrication tasks according to project specifications. Read and interpret basic mechanical drawings and assembly instructions. Support installation, alignment, and adjustment of mechanical components. Follow all safety standards, quality procedures, and project guidelines. Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and project teams to meet production schedules. Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications Required:

1-3 years of general mechanical experience. Demonstrated skills in welding, fabrication, and mechanical assembly. Ability to work in a hands-on, fast-paced construction environment. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Ability to work in a hands-on, fast-paced industrial environment. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Preferred:

Previous experience supporting projects in construction, energy, or infrastructure sectors.

Work Environment:

This position is based at our Buffalo location, with occasional visits to local job sites. The willingness to travel to job sites is a requirement.
