1+ Years Job Description Primary Responsibilities Heat treat parts, tools, and materials involving: Carburizing Plating Hardening Tempering Annealing Stress relieving Read thermometers, ammeters, voltmeters, indicating, and recording instruments Use measuring equipment Complete quality forms and other required paperwork Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area Set up induction heaters Run trial heats Determine required: Voltage Current Frequency Feeds Speed Type of induction coil Water flow Check sample pieces for hardness and distortion Interpret samples for correct hardening technique Use material handling equipment Recognize and immediately correct difficulties or errors without assistance, or identify when issues are due to machines, equipment, or material Perform duties without assistance, except on unusual or difficult jobs Consistently produce work of proper quality and required quantity Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to use basic measuring equipment, including scales and calipers Basic math skills Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Self-driven and able to self-manage Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required By providing your phone number, you consent to: (1) receive automated text messages and calls from the Judge Group, Inc. and its affiliates (collectively "Judge") to such phone number regarding job opportunities, your job application, and for other related purposes.
