Occasional overtime required based on project needs Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician III to support the installation, startup, troubleshooting, and improvement of manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced production environment. This role will work closely with engineering, maintenance, operations, and outside vendors to install new production lines, troubleshoot equipment, and improve manufacturing processes. If you enjoy hands-on mechanical work, solving complex equipment issues, and working on new equipment installations, we'd like to hear from you. Responsibilities Support the installation, startup, and debugging of new manufacturing equipment and production lines. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems, including pumps, motors, conveyors, bearings, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Perform equipment testing, alignment, calibration, and startup after installation. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Identify root causes of equipment issues and implement effective mechanical solutions. Work closely with engineers, maintenance, operations, vendors, and suppliers to complete projects on schedule. Recommend improvements to increase equipment reliability, efficiency, and safety. Maintain engineering documentation, spare parts information, and maintenance records. Assist with training production personnel on new equipment and process changes. Follow all plant safety policies and procedures while maintaining a safe work environment. Qualifications Associate's degree preferred; equivalent hands-on industrial experience will be considered. Minimum of 3 years of experience installing and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment. Experience supporting equipment startups or production line installations is a plus. Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills in industrial manufacturing environments. Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, gearboxes, conveyors, and rotating equipment. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Working knowledge of CMMS or computerized maintenance management systems. Proficient with Microsoft Office. Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with manufacturing engineering or capital equipment installation projects. Project coordination or project leadership experience. Experience working with equipment vendors and suppliers. CAD experience is a plus. Industrial certifications such as Millwright, Welding, HVAC, OSHA, or Mechatronics are preferred. Pay:
