This position is a Union position with the eligibility of union membership and other benefits. Medical and 401K benefits eligibility after 60 days. PTO and Paid Holidays eligibility after 90 days.
What you will do:
Performs mechanical assembly of machines & related large sub-assemblies. Welding and wiring electrical (panels and cables) assembly. Follow blueprints, work instructions, and specifications to ensure accurate assembly. Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications. All other duties assigned. Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR regulations. High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 5 years of experience building machines and large mechanical assemblies in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Minimum 3 years of hands-on machining experience using conventional lathes, milling machines, and/or surface grinders. Experience with welding and basic electrical wiring for industrial equipment. Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints. Ability to read and understand GD&T is a plus. Experience performing quality control inspections on mechanical parts. Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, and precision measuring instruments. Basic computer and communication skills. Willingness to undergo background, drug, and alcohol testing as required by company policy.
