THIS IS A 12 HOURS ROTATING SHIFT JOB
Change MP, filters, idlers,
- Change Printrolls, Unwinders settings, materials, etc. Materials Clearance
- Order Material
- Move carts in right location Perform complex mechanical repairs, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on a wide range of machinery and equipment using hand tools, precision measuring instruments, and welding techniques.
Conduct root cause analysis to identify underlying issues affecting equipment performance, implementing corrective actions promptly. Operate CNC machines, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and other manufacturing automation tools to support machining and fabrication processes. Assist in project scheduling by coordinating maintenance activities with production timelines to minimize downtime. Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles for precise mechanical design and assembly work aligned with ASME codes & standards. Use precision tools like calipers, micrometers, soldering equipment, and labVIEW systems for quality assurance and testing of mechanical components. Qualifications Proven experience in mechanical engineering with a focus on maintenance, fabrication, or manufacturing environments. Familiarity with CNC machining processes, PLC programming, and automation systems. Skilled in using hand tools, welding techniques, soldering equipment, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments. Ability to perform root cause analysis on complex mechanical issues efficiently. Knowledge of ASME codes & standards related to mechanical design and fabrication practices. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with project scheduling capabilities to ensure timely completion of tasks. Effective communication skills for interpreting technical drawings and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
