Mechanical/Electrical Technician - Contract To Hire The Mechanical/Electrical Technician position is located in Ladson SC. This role is essential for assembling, inspecting, and testing complex electro-mechanical-optical systems, contributing to a company known for its innovative technology solutions. Shift of the
Mechanical/Electrical Technician:
6:00 am - 3:30pm Pay Rate of the
Mechanical/Electrical Technician:
$27 - $29 per hour. Responsibilities of the
Mechanical/Electrical Technician:
Assemble, align, and calibrate electro-mechanical or opto-mechanical systems according to engineering specifications. Fault isolate and repair products in a repair depot environment using engineering drawings and failure reports. Set up and operate test equipment for acceptance inspections to ensure compliance with requirements. Conduct acceptance testing following approved procedures, with engineering support as needed. Maintain accurate logs and records while ensuring safe handling of hazardous materials. Qualifications of the
Mechanical/Electrical Technician:
High school diploma or equivalent with 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing complex electro-mechanical systems. Ability to work independently from engineering drawings and specifications. Intermediate computer skills for accessing technical data and documentation. Willingness to wear a company-provided respirator for certain job functions.
