  • Travel healthcare, Part-time Overview Join our dynamic team as a Hair Transplant Technician and play a vital role in delivering exceptional hair restoration procedures.
In this energetic position, you will assist surgeons during hair transplant surgeries, ensuring precision and patient comfort throughout the process. Your expertise will contribute to transforming lives by restoring confidence and self-esteem for our patients. Responsibilities Prepare the surgical area by sterilizing instruments, setting up equipment, and ensuring an aseptic environment in accordance with infection control standards Assist surgeons during hair transplant procedures by passing instruments, managing supplies, and maintaining a sterile field Collect and document patient data including vital signs, medical history, and relevant physiology information using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or other EMR platforms Support patient care before, during, and after procedures by monitoring vital signs, providing comfort measures, and explaining post-operative instructions clearly Maintain detailed medical records with accuracy, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and medical terminology standards Assist in the preparation of patients for surgery, including positioning and applying local anesthesia under supervision Follow strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure safety for both patients and staff Experience Prior experience working in a hospital or ambulatory surgery center setting is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to surgical procedures Experience with OR practices including suturing techniques and sterile technique adherence Critical care experience such as ICU or Level I/II trauma center exposure is advantageous Familiarity with hospital medicine, emergency medicine protocols, and acute care environments enhances your ability to adapt quickly Basic life support (BLS) certification is required; additional certifications in advanced trauma or pediatric care are a plus Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or similar platforms for accurate documentation Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to excellence in hair restoration surgery.
