Job Description
Industrial Engineering Technician Summary:
Reporting to the Industrial Engineering Manager, the Industrial Engineering Technician is responsible for auditing production processes to ensure company and regulatory standards, reviewing efficiencies, and compiling data to present reports.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time. Monitor or audit production processes to ensure company and/or regulatory standards for reliability, usability, and/or performance are maintained. Ensure established quality processes are followed. Review efficiency of production systems and work with other departments as necessary to develop or revise standards. Compile and analyze statistical quality data. Prepare and present reports or findings. Collaborate with related internal departments to find solutions to production issues. As part of the AROW Global team you will need to understand the AROW Business System policy and objectives and how you affect conformance to them.Qualifications:
Associates degree in a technical discipline. One to three years prior experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software; knowledge of IFS preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, with an emphasis on Excel. Experience with root cause analysis and strong problem-solving skills. Strong leadership, interpersonal and analytical skills with the ability to work well in a team environment. Exceptional verbal communication skills required. Excellent writing skills to publish reports, work instructions, and company procedures. Willingness to travel (<10%). Self-motivated with a strong desire to implement change.Physical Demands:
