This position will support the Design & Engineering Manager with daily operations related to telecom infrastructure upgrade projects. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the telecommunications industry and familiarity with design, mapping, and project tracking software. Job Description The Telecom Design & Engineering Coordinator will assist with the day-to-day support of telecom engineering and design projects. This role includes maintaining project tracking systems, updating Excel trackers, assisting with telecom design documentation, supporting field and office coordination efforts, and helping ensure projects remain on schedule from a design and engineering standpoint.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced telecom environment with multiple ongoing projects. Responsibilities Assist the Design & Engineering Manager with daily operational and project-related tasks Update and maintain Excel trackers and internal project management systems Perform data entry and project status updates accurately and efficiently Assist with maintaining project schedules and identifying potential project hold-ups or delays Coordinate with internal staff, contractors, and project teams regarding design-related issues Make minor edits and revisions to telecom designs using AutoCAD Review and assist with telecom construction prints, redlines, and design documentation Utilize GIS and Bluebeam for project review, markups, and tracking Help organize and maintain project files, documentation, and deliverables Support office operations and communication between departments as needed Preferred Qualifications Previous telecommunications industry experience preferred Experience using: AutoCAD GIS software (ArcGIS experience preferred) Bluebeam Revu Microsoft Excel and Office Suite Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail and ability to follow established processes Basic understanding of telecom engineering, HFC, fiber, or utility design workflows is a plus Preferred Traits Self-motivated and dependable Strong problem-solving skills Team-oriented attitude Willingness to learn and grow within the telecom engineering field Compensation Competitive pay based on experience Opportunity for growth within a rapidly expanding telecom engineering company About Us BOGO Telecom specializes in telecom engineering, design, and project management services supporting large-scale network infrastructure upgrades throughout Alaska and beyond.
