Manufacturing Engineer Intern- Summer Regal Rexnord Corp United States, Alabama, Auburn 1600 Pumphrey Avenue (Show on map) Apr 27, 2026 Manufacturing Engineer Intern Our Auburn plan is part of Regal Rexnord's Industrial Powertrain Solutions (IPS) Division and we are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Intern for Summer 2026 to support process improvement, production optimization, and handson engineering projects within our machining and assembly operations.

Summary:

The Manufacturing Engineer Intern will work directly with our engineering, production, and quality teams to support daily operations and improvement projects. This role is ideal for a student who wants realworld exposure to machining processes, tooling, workflow optimization, and manufacturing problemsolving in a highmix, precisionmanufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with process improvement projects in machining, assembly, and material flow Support time studies, workflow analysis, and data collection on the shop floor Help develop or update standard work, work instructions, and visual aids Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities Assist engineers with tooling evaluations, fixture improvements, and process trials Support quality checks, measurement studies, and documentation updates Contribute to safety and 6S initiatives across the facility Perform other engineering support tasks as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field Strong interest in manufacturing, machining, or industrial processes Ability to work handson in a production environment Basic understanding of machining concepts and/or measurement tools (a plus, not required) Strong analytical, communication, and problemsolving skills Willingness to learn, ask questions, and collaborate with crossfunctional teams "Restrictions imposed by federal export control laws may limit this job opportunity to candidates who are a "U.S. Person", which includes U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, U.S. permanent residents, individuals granted asylum in the United States, and refugees in the United States, or who otherwise can qualify for a license that permits them to hold the position."
