This position is ideal for an entry-level candidate, recent college graduate, or an individual with experience in the windows and doors industry. The Design Engineer will support engineering, quoting, and production operations by creating technical drawings, assisting with product design, preparing Bills of Materials (BOMs), and helping transition customer orders into manufacturing-ready production units. Duties

• Create and modify technical drawings using AutoCAD
• Assist with quote preparation and order processing
• Support the transfer of customer orders into production-ready units
• Prepare and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs)
• Review project specifications, dimensions, and product requirements
• Collaborate with sales, production, purchasing, and operations teams
• Support manufacturing teams with engineering-related questions and troubleshooting
• Ensure drawings and designs meet company quality standards
• Maintain accurate engineering documentation and revision records
• Assist with product development and continuous improvement initiatives
• Help identify opportunities to improve production efficiency and reduce waste
• Support prototype development and product testing activities
• Verify material specifications and manufacturing requirements
• Assist with ERP system data entry and order tracking Communicate engineering updates and changes to internal departments

Pay:

$60,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
