What You'll Do:
  • Lead the development, optimization, standardization, and documentation of manufacturing processes.
  • Drive robotic programming, automation initiatives, and advanced manufacturing improvements.
  • Analyze manufacturing performance metrics, cycle times, throughput, and labor utilization to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Develop tooling, fixturing, and automation solutions that improve repeatability and productivity.
  • Establish manufacturing standards, SOPs, work instructions, and process controls.
  • Lead root cause investigations and corrective action initiatives related to manufacturing performance.
  • Evaluate new manufacturing technologies, capital equipment, robotics, and automation investments.
  • Train and support manufacturing personnel on standardized processes and best practices.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Operations to support manufacturability and production scalability. Ideal Background (Partial List):
  • BS degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Robotics, Automation Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of manufacturing engineering, process engineering, robotics programming, automation engineering, or advanced manufacturing experience.
  • Experience implementing manufacturing process improvements and automation solutions in a production environment.
  • Industrial robot programming experience (FANUC, ABB, KUKA, Yaskawa, Universal Robots, or similar).
  • Strong background in process optimization, continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and manufacturing standardization.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, SPC, PFMEA, or related operational excellence methodologies.
  • Aerospace, defense, precision manufacturing, thermal spray, coating, welding, or automated manufacturing experience is highly desirable.
