This position reports to:
Manufacturing Engineering Manager __ The work model for the role is: Onsite #LI-Onsite Your role and responsibilities: The manufacturing engineer will provide support for the Fort Smith motor plant. The role focuses on improving manufacturing processes, ensuring workplace safety, and driving efficiency through Lean and Six Sigma principles. Qualifications for the role:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (required) with minimum 2 years experience (preferred) and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment while managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.Preferred Experience Includes:
Strong project management and technical writing skills, experience with Gantt charts, critical path method (CPM), cost estimation and budgeting. Proficiency inMicrosoft Office:
Word, Outlook, PowerPoint (Advanced Excel), AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and 3D prototyping tools. Ability to creatively apply existing and emerging technologies to enhance manufacturing systems, improve efficiency, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Lean Six Sigma and/or PMP Certifications. Winding experience with industrial electric motors Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.More about us:
