Job Description

Position Summary:
The Manufacturing Engineer will play a key role in driving operational excellence across multiple manufacturing sites by identifying, developing, and implementing process improvements. This position focuses on optimizing production efficiency, reducing waste, improving quality, and supporting standardization initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring a data-driven mindset and strong cross-functional collaboration skills to support sustainable performance gains.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other structured problem-solving methodologies Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and cost reduction opportunities Develop and implement standardized work, process documentation, and best practices across operations Partner with operations, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to improve throughput, quality, and safety performance Utilize data analytics and KPI tracking to measure effectiveness of improvements and drive decision-making Facilitate root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action plans for production and quality issues Support capital projects, including equipment selection, layout optimization, and process design Lead or participate in Kaizen events and continuous improvement workshops Assist in training plant personnel on new processes, tools, and continuous improvement principles Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, or related field) preferred 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on process improvement Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt preferred), and continuous improvement tools Experience with data analysis, process mapping, and performance metrics Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills Ability to work cross-functionally and influence at multiple levels of the organization
Preferred Qualifications:
Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification Multi-site or enterprise-level project experience Experience in high-volume or automated manufacturing environments CIV123

$75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
