$100,000-$135,000 A growing aerospace manufacturing company in the Greater Phoenix area is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Engineer to support production optimization, continuous improvement initiatives, and new product introduction efforts within a high precision manufacturing environment. This role will partner closely with operations, quality, and engineering teams to improve manufacturing flow, reduce waste, and drive process efficiencies across the facility. The company is looking for someone with a strong lean manufacturing background who enjoys being hands-on with process improvement and production support. Responsibilities Lead continuous improvement initiatives including Kaizen events, 5S, and Value Stream Mapping Improve production flow, cycle times, and manufacturing throughput Develop and document standard work instructions and manufacturing processes Support facility layout improvements and workstation optimization Identify cost reduction opportunities and assist with capital equipment justification Support new product introduction activities including tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing methods Conduct root cause analysis and support quality improvement initiatives Partner with production, quality, and engineering teams to improve overall operations Assist with safety and ergonomic improvement initiatives Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, ideally within aerospace or high precision manufacturing Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies Familiarity with ERP systems, CAD software, and advanced Excel Experience supporting NPI, process optimization, and production environments Six Sigma or Lean certifications are highly preferred Additional Information U.S. Person status required due to ITAR regulations No visa sponsorship available Strong long-term growth opportunity within a stable manufacturing environment
