Since 1959, LEM has been a trusted name in the aerospace, precision machining, and defense industries. Originally founded as Maximet, Inc. and rebranded as Leading Edge Manufacturing in 2017, we specialize in complex manufacturing processes including machining, sheet metal fabrication, brazing, heat treating, welding, and non-destructive testing. With AS9100D, ISO9001, and NADCAP certifications, we deliver high-quality precision components and sub-assemblies across multiple industries. Process Engineer - Aerospace Manufacturing Joined Alloys is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to support our aerospace manufacturing operations in Phoenix, Arizona. The ideal candidate will have experience in aerospace manufacturing and process development, with knowledge of special processes and precision manufacturing environments. Responsibilities Develop and maintain manufacturing processes and work instructions Quote new and repeat aerospace components and assemblies Support production related to: Heat Treating Brazing (Vacuum Furnace, Torch & Induction) Welding Work with engineering, quality, and production teams to improve manufacturability and efficiency Support troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives Review customer drawings, specifications, and technical requirements Preferred Experience & Education Aerospace manufacturing experience required BS degree in Welding Engineering, Materials Science, Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent aerospace manufacturing experience Experience with NADCAP and AS9100 environments preferred Familiarity with special processes and aerospace specifications Experience with machining and/or sheet metal fabrication is a plus CAD/CAM experience preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Will train the right candidate Compensation & Benefits Compensation DOE (Depending on Experience) What We Offer Competitive compensation Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- & long-term disability, 401(k)) Paid holidays and vacation time Career growth and professional development opportunities A supportive, collaborative work environment focused on teamwork and excellence Equal Employment Opportunity Statement Leading Edge Manufacturing LLC, dba Joined Alloys, is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
