Mold Designer / Engineer (5 yrs exp req)

Corporation is located in Southern California and is a progressive leader in building high-performance injection molds for the plastics industry. Position is responsible for the complete development and design of complex, high performance injection molds. Candidates should have 5 to 10 years of experience in mold design and detailing of multi-cavity, close tolerance high performance injection molds, as well as experience working with 3D solid modeling, preferably Nx (UG), SolidWorks or Pro/E. Qualified candidates should have a well-rounded mold design experience that includes molds with complex actions and hot runner integration. Knowledge of plastic product design, processing, mold manufacturing and CNC processes is preferred. An engineering or plastics degree and experience with multi shot/material injection mold design is a plus. We are looking for a team-oriented individual and prefer someone who is innovative and progressive in thinking and application. Wages commensurate with experience and qualifications.
