Join Millennium Space Systems (a Boeing company) and shape national security space with agile satellites that matter. What you will do Lead spacecraft build from first bolt to launch vehicle mate. Assess drawings and schematics early to de-risk builds and influence upstream design/proposal choices for manufacturability and constellation scale. Direct cleanroom troubleshooting with technicians, quality, and engineering; make clear go/no-go calls and drive corrective actions. Integrate and test development platforms; author robust assembly and test procedures. Act as signature authority on ATLO procedures, process plans, and program starts. Plan and run environmental testing (EMI/C, dynamics, TVAC) and launch integration, managing plans, staffing, and schedule. Continuously improve throughput; lower build hours and defect rates; remove waste across complex flows. Apply statistical/analytical tools to track team and product execution performance.

Systems Engineer | Levels hiring: 3 and 4 Is this you? BS in Engineering or related discipline. 5+ years across engineering domains such as manufacturing, mechanical, electrical, test, or materials/process (Aerospace/Automotive/Commercial). Depth in one or more:
medium-rate production (10-100 complex products/year), mechanical integration, electrical test, spacecraft I&T, program leadership, industrial ops, or systems engineering. Eligible to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required). Bonus points 7+ years in space systems and knowledge of satellite manufacturing standards. Procedure and work-instruction authoring for critical aerospace parts. Hands-on with NI LabVIEW, DAQ, power supplies, signal analyzers, multimeters. Version control literacy; software basics; Python, C++, Linux; network architecture. Data prowess:
statistics, analysis, cost/benefit, BI, visualization (PowerBI, Tableau). Tools:
MRP/ERP, Jira, MS Project, MES, Teamcenter/PLM, configuration management. CAD and drawing interpretation skills. Clear communicator and presenter to engineering teams, customers, and leadership. Experience working with a union-represented workforce. Flexibility for shift work, travel to launch/integration sites, and surge support. Active TS/SCI. How we work Rotating Shifts:
Various shifts on a rotating basis; schedules may change and additional shifts may be added as needed (one shift per day). Shift length:
9.5 hours with a 0.5-hour lunch; 9 hours worked to support the Millennium 9/80 calendar (every other Friday off). Standard times:
