ASAP About the Role NCW Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to support Suba Technologies, a leader in advanced electronics manufacturing and high‑reliability PCBA production. This hands‑on, high‑impact position is ideal for an engineer with deep experience in SMT, through‑hole, and mixed‑technology PCB assembly who is passionate about improving yield, quality, and operational efficiency. You'll partner with cross-functional teams to drive NPIs, optimize processes, and lead structured problem‑solving across the production floor. Key Responsibilities Develop, optimize, and sustain SMT, through‑hole, and mixed‑tech PCBA processes Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and increase yield Lead NPI transitions from prototype to full production readiness Perform root‑cause analysis using 8D, DMAIC, 5‑Why, and Fishbone methodologies Create and maintain engineering documentation (WIs, BOMs, PFMEAs, process flows) Analyze SPI/AOI data and monitor process capability (Cpk, Ppk) Support quality management system audits (AS9100, ISO 9001, IATF 16949) Optimize equipment programming and recipes in collaboration with vendors Support

management, and ERP/MES workflows Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field 3-7 years of hands‑on experience in electronics/PCBA manufacturing Strong working knowledge of

SMT:

stencil printing, PnP, reflow, wave solder, inspection Familiarity with IPC‑A‑610, J‑STD‑001, and IPC‑7711/7721 Experience generating process documentation and PFMEAs Skilled in structured problem‑solving methodologies Experience with ERP/MES systems like SAP or Oracle Ability to interpret SPI data and process capability metrics Preferred Qualifications IPC‑A‑610 or J‑STD‑001 CIS/CIT certification Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Experience with conformal coating, potting, and electromechanical builds HMLV (high‑mix, low‑volume) manufacturing experience Experience with AOI programming and optimization Previous NPI ownership experience Familiarity with Minitab, JMP, or similar statistical tools Compensation & Employment Options Direct Hire with Suba Technologies $105,000 - $150,000 per year Compensation based on experience, certifications, and location Full Suba Technologies benefits package Temp‑to‑Hire via NCW Staffing $52 - $72/hr (W2) Medical, dental & vision coverage during the temp period Clear and straightforward conversion path to direct hire Work Environment On-site position based at Suba Technologies' Northern California manufacturing facility Regular presence on the production floor in an ESD-controlled manufacturing environment Collaborative, cross-functional team environment working alongside engineering, quality, operations, and supply chain Occasional travel to supplier or contract manufacturing sites may be required Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods during production floor activities Apply Today NCW Staffing is excited to connect top-tier engineering talent with Suba Technologies' growing manufacturing team.
