What to Expect This position is expected to start around August or September 2026 and continue through the Fall term (ending approximately December 2026) or continuing into Winter/Spring 2027 if available and there is an opportunity to do so. We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time and on-site, for most internships. Our internship program is for students who are actively enrolled in an academic program. Recent graduates seeking employment after graduation and not returning to school should apply for full-time positions, not internships.

If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school on your ability to work 40 hours per week before applying. You must be able to work 40 hours per week on-site. What You'll Do:
Leverage AI tools and agents to assist in Test data analysis and post-processing, test automation, simulation, and report generation within EMC workflows
Support the development of Python-based scripts and AI-assisted tools to analyze and streamline EMC testing information, data collection, and results interpretation. For example, pattern recognition from RF Emissions test data, device failure logging
Work on schematic and circuit board layout design for EMC, modeling and simulation for product packaging and assembly, and cable design for RF shielding
Execute EMC troubleshooting efforts with direction and guidance from EMC engineers using EMC test methods from standards like CISPR 25, ISO-11452-2, ISO-7637, etc. What You'll Bring
What You'll Bring
Currently working towards a Masters or PhD in a relevant engineering program such as Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or Computer Science
Knowledge of analog and digital electronic design
Basic understanding of electromagnetic theory, transmission lines, non-ideal behavior of passive components (resistor, capacitors, inductors)
Exposed to simulation tools for RF design like ANSYS HFSS, CST, FEKO, etc.; a plus if familiar with simulation done for EMC applications
Proficient in Python for scripting, data analysis, and test automation
Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and tools, including some experience using large language models (LLMs), AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, or similar), or AI-powered agents to accelerate engineering workflows
Hands-on experience in debugging radiated and conducted emission issues is a plus.
Experience on using test and measurement equipment like oscilloscopes, signal generators, arbitrary waveform generators; it is a plus if experience on equipment for EMC testing like spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, antennas, near field probes, etc
Self-starter, energizing, results oriented, and ability to multi-task

Expected Compensation
$20.00 - $50.00/hour + benefits Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
