Monday to Friday - 8:00 am to 4:30 PM Summary We are seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer to support the testing, validation, and continuous improvement of pulse oximeter devices in a production environment. This role is responsible for developing, executing, and maintaining test procedures, ensuring product quality, and supporting manufacturing operations through effective test strategies and equipment utilization. The ideal candidate will have experience with medical device testing, familiarity with regulatory standards, and hands-on experience with electronic test equipment or systems Key Responsibilities Execute functional, electrical, and performance testing on pulse oximeter devices. Use standard electronic test equipment and specialized medical device testers to verify product performance. Follow established test procedures and accurately document results. Troubleshoot test failures and work with engineering and quality teams to resolve issues. Support production by identifying defects and helping improve yield and reliability. Assist in maintaining and calibrating test equipment. Contribute to the development and improvement of test procedures and work instructions. Support validation activities for test methods and equipment as needed. Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience). 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing, test, or technician/engineering support roles (medical device experience preferred but not required). Experience using electronic test equipment (e.g., multimeters, basic lab tools); experience with medical device test systems is a plus. Ability to follow test procedures and document results accurately. Basic troubleshooting skills for identifying and isolating device issues. Comfortable working in a production or manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail and communication skills. Preferred Skills Experience working with automated or semi-automated test setups and basic test fixtures. Familiarity with pulse oximeter devices or similar electronic/medical products. Understanding of basic test principles and how product design impacts testability. Experience supporting new product builds or early-stage production (NPI). Work Environment Hands-on role in a manufacturing setting, working directly with devices and test equipment. Regular interaction with production, engineering, and quality teams. May occasionally support production builds, troubleshooting efforts, or extended testing activities as needed.
