We are seeking a hands-on and analytical Manufacturing Engineer to support and improve our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for driving continuous improvement, increasing production efficiency, improving product quality, reducing costs, and supporting new product introductions. Since 1972, Four Wheel Campers has built lightweight, durable pop-up truck campers trusted by outdoor enthusiasts across North America and beyond. We're looking for a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and working directly with production teams to build products people use to go exploring. This role is more than spreadsheets and reports. You'll work closely with Production, Product Development, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to improve efficiency, support new product launches, solve manufacturing challenges, and help shape the future of a legacy outdoor brand. What you'll do Improve manufacturing processes, workflows, tooling, and production efficiency Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, root cause analysis, and problem-solving methods Support new product introductions from prototype through production launch Work directly with production teams to troubleshoot challenges and improve quality Develop work instructions, SOPs, and manufacturing documentation Help reduce waste, improve throughput, and build better products Complete Job Description will be provided What we're looking for
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience
  • Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and process improvement
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
  • Experience in consumer products, RV, automotive, outdoor products, or assembly manufacturing preferred
