Job Description

As a Manufacturing Engineer II here at Honeywell, you will contribute to optimizing manufacturing operations and driving operational excellence. You will develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes, support process improvements, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. This role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, design, and maintenance, to ensure the efficient and cost-effective production of our products. In this role, you will impact the efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness of Honeywell's manufacturing operations by applying your engineering expertise to improve processes and resolve production challenges.   • Key Responsibilities
  • + This role will support projects in manufacturing operations and the facilities team + Lead site infrastructure projects such as cubicle builds, re-locating manufacturing cells, and other facilities project management + Identify and oversee process improvement projects to enhance manufacturing efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality + Learn program details for inputting capital equipment requests and interface with management & finance to support the capital equipment requirements for the group + Collaborate with cross functional teams to address bottlenecks or inefficiencies in material handling from internal workflows and outsourced processes + Provide leadership and guidance to the production team, troubleshooting and resolving manufacturing issues promptly + Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements •
YOU MUST HAVE
  • + Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in technical disciplines such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
+ 2+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering. + Experience with a variety of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and continuous improvement methodologies. + 2D CAD software knowledge (Draftsight or ACAD) + Ability to obtain and maintain Security Clearance + This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. As a condition to this job offer, in order to be employed in this position, you must be able to obtain an U.S. Government export license(s), as required by law.
