In this role, you'll troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain CNC machine tools both onsite at customer facilities and within the company's service environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working directly with customers, and being involved in a variety of technical service and maintenance projects. This position offers a mix of field service, preventative maintenance, machine installations, and customer support while working alongside a collaborative and experienced team. What You'll Do Troubleshoot and repair CNC machine tools and related equipment Perform machine installations, preventative maintenance, and service work Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and operational issues to minimize downtime Train customers and team members on machine operation, maintenance, and repair procedures Document service activity, repairs, parts usage, and findings accurately within service software Communicate directly with customers regarding scheduling, service updates, and job completion Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve technical issues and improve service processes Support continuous improvement efforts related to equipment, processes, and service operations Maintain company tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and professional manner Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities What They're Looking For Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience related to CNC machine tool troubleshooting, repair, or installation Minimum of 2 years of experience troubleshooting and servicing CNC machine tools Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities Ability to read and work with technical documentation and service software Strong communication and customer service skills Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a team environment Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to travel as needed, including occasional overnight or out-of-state travel Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in manufacturing and industrial environments Passport eligibility and willingness to travel as business needs require What You Can Expect Hands-on work with CNC machine tools and advanced manufacturing equipment Variety in daily responsibilities between troubleshooting, maintenance, installation, and customer support Opportunity to work directly with customers and help solve technical challenges Collaborative team environment with ongoing training and development opportunities Company-provided uniforms and tools to support your work Exposure to a wide range of manufacturing environments and technologies
