  • 85K Job Summary & Job Duties The Process Engineer I supports NxEdge Santa Clara by developing, optimizing, and controlling manufacturing processes to ensure products and operations meet customer requirements and applicable quality standards.
This role identifies gaps, performs root-cause analysis, implements corrective and preventive actions, and partners with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in quality, efficiency, safety, and compliance.
  • Developing, optimizing, and improving manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, quality, and safety.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to reduce costs, minimize waste, and increase efficiency.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of new processes, technologies, and equipment.
  • Monitoring and analyzing process data, identifying trends, and continuously proposing solutions for process improvement.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements in all process engineering activities.
  • Communicate with the internal team and customers regarding the Process.
  • Engage with customer communication in quality-related matters.
  • Design and implement process optimization strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle time, and improve product quality.
  • Identify and implement process control measures, including statistical process control (SPC) techniques, to ensure consistent quality and reduce process variation.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive measures.
  • Provide training and guidance to production teams on new processes, procedures, and equipment to ensure successful implementation and operation.
  • Coordinating the VI quoting process for the facility (provide or facilitate quotes).
  • Accountable for the movement and completion of VI development parts through the facility. Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION
BS in Chemical, industrial, or mechanical engineering.
  • ASQ certification preferred.
