Job Description:
Position Overview Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their client's dynamic team in Santa Cruz, CA. The client is renowned for providing end-to-end design, engineering, manufacturing, and prototyping solutions to global tech companies, emphasizing flexibility, customization, and exceptional customer and engineering support. This role offers a unique opportunity for a hands-on technician eager to grow, a recent Electrical or Mechanical Engineering graduate ready to launch their career, or a seasoned Manufacturing Engineer seeking a company with a strong employee-first culture. Responsibilities Collaborate with technicians to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues. Interface with customers to clarify requirements and documentation. Review and release customer-provided document packages. Develop Operational Method Sheets (OMS) to improve efficiency and quality. Support engineering activities, including testing, verification, modifications, and documentation updates. Review and release Engineering Change Orders (ECOs). Assist with field installations at customer sites. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes. Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following standards and procedures. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent hands-on technical experience. Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, sometimes high-pressure environment. Required Work Hours Monday - Friday, 1st shift.
Compensation & Benefits Pay:
