Lean Practices, Six Sigma, Project Coordination, Artificial Intelligence Systems Knowledge, Mechanical Engineering, Cross Functional Team work, GD&T, PMP Essential Responsibilities Communicate and hold suppliers accountable for loss time activities. Identify and execute Lean and Six Sigma projects for assigned areas. Ability to update Layouts per CAD, CREO, Pro-E files where applicable. Coordinate, prepare, and help execute equipment qualifications per the Matrix output. Coordinate targeted operational deficiency data gathering per field follow schedule. Identify Tooling updates where applicable to Industry best practices and technology. Develop Tooling for Jigs and Fixtures where applicable to Industry best practices and technology. Support and implement new purchased equipment and maintain budget constraints, Provides daily and weekly operational updates and initiatives. Support and help implement process improvements. Support on Kaizen and other initiatives and target Shop-floor practice updates. Review and capture In-Process Validation Steps being utilized and identify cycle time's associated. Provide process improvements concepts to the In-Process Validation Steps with current technologies. Work and coordinate with cross functional team members. Use AI tools to support workflow in industrial applications. Qualifications/Requirements B.S in Engineering, Technical Practice, or Equivalent Minimum of 5 years of experience in an engineering, quality, or Production and Manufacturing Operations in an Automotive or related industry. Ability to support the development and execution of continues improvement initiatives. Has knowledge of Quality Control, manufacturing processes, and production systems. Is a self-starter and can execute assigned projects with minimal supervision.
