You will leverage your expertise in 5-axis milling and programming to drive production efficiency and ensure the highest standards of dimensional accuracy for critical industry applications. Responsibilities Execute the complete machining lifecycle, from initial setup and programming to final production runs on 5-axis equipment. Interpret complex engineering blueprints and GD&T specifications to ensure parts meet rigorous technical requirements. Optimize machining strategies, including tooling selection and feed/speed adjustments, to maximize throughput and part quality. Conduct thorough inspections using advanced metrology tools such as CMMs, micrometers, and calipers to verify tolerances. Proactively troubleshoot production challenges and implement process improvements to enhance overall manufacturing performance. Partner with engineering teams to refine manufacturing workflows and support the successful delivery of high-precision components. Qualifications Required Skills 3+ years of professional experience in CNC machining environments. Demonstrated proficiency in programming and operating 5-axis milling centers. Deep understanding of machining fundamentals, including material properties and cutting strategies. Proven ability to independently manage the full production process from start to finish. Eligibility to support projects requiring ITAR and DOD compliance standards. Preferred Skills Prior experience within aerospace, medical, or defense manufacturing sectors. Advanced knowledge of CAD/CAM software for complex part development. Experience with CNC lathe operations in a multi-axis environment. Strong commitment to continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles.
