Full Job Description Must Have:
BSEE or related engineering degree with 3-5+ years of experience. Expertise in Allen-Bradley PLC programming and industrial automation integration. Hands-on experience with Ignition (OPC UA, tag management, scripting, database integration, and device connectivity). Strong knowledge of manufacturing data architectures, industrial networking, and real-time data acquisition. Advanced Power BI and SQL skills for developing automated dashboards, OEE reporting, and manufacturing KPIs. Medical device or regulated manufacturing experience (QSR, change control, software validation). Experience with Industry 4.0, IIoT, MQTT, DeviceWISE, HiveMQ, Python, SPC, and version control systems.
Responsibilities:
Integrate Allen-Bradley PLC-based equipment with the Ignition platform and manufacturing databases. Develop and support data communication architectures for Smart Factory initiatives. Configure and maintain tags, OPC UA communications, and manufacturing data pipelines. Build and maintain Power BI dashboards for OEE, equipment performance, and operational reporting. Troubleshoot connectivity and data flow issues between equipment, Ignition, and reporting tools. Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and IT teams to deliver scalable manufacturing data and visualization solutions. #
GRPA Pay:
$50.00 - $65.00 per hour
