This role is responsible for managing the Quality Notification (QN) workflow and ensuring timely execution and closure of all assigned tasks related to the electronic Quality Notification (eQN) process. An electronic Quality Notification (eQN) is initiated when a manufactured component does not meet blueprint requirements and requires an engineering review to determine whether the component still satisfies engineering and customer requirements.
Salary:
80,000-95,000 The ideal candidate will have IPT-level (Integrated Product Team) experience , strong project coordination skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and manage assigned eQN projects. Track project deliverables and provide regular status updates. Load and manage new eQNs and export QN-related data. Initiate engineering tasks with delivery teams and monitor progress. Review, summarize, and close engineering disposition tasks. Coordinate expedited closure of eSRIs (Electronic Supplier Request Information). Collaborate with engineers, customers, and cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of parts. Identify potential delays within the eQN process and develop effective solutions. Provide technical support and assistance to project participants and stakeholders. Drive continuous process improvements and cost-saving initiatives. Work closely with interdisciplinary engineering teams to support project execution. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree with 1+ years of experience, OR Associate's Degree with 3+ years of experience as a Design Engineer or Project Engineer in an aerospace manufacturing environment. IPT (Integrated Product Team) level experience preferred. Experience working in a fast-paced environment with quick turnaround requirements. Strong time management and organizational skills. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills. Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and VBA macros. Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary engineering teams. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with SAP. Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing and jet engine components. Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
