$70,000•$75,000 per year Job Details•Key Responsibilities and Duties Serve as a developmental member of our programming and engineering team, supporting the production of precision aerospace components. Act as a point of contact on customer specifications and contracts, translating technical data into methods of manufacturing and process operational instructions. Develop CAD models and prints outlining the sequence of operations and work instructions for manufacturing processes according to customer specifications. Create Bill of Materials (BOM) and Methods of Manufacture (MOM) work travelers and job routings in the manufacturing ERP environment. Research suppliers for raw material and special processes (heat treatment, coatings, testing) adhering to customer specifications. Troubleshoot manufacturing process issues; utilize knowledge of machines, engineering practices, materials, and CNC machining processes to develop best manufacturing practices. Apply lean principles to recommend process modifications that improve production efficiencies, manufacturing techniques, and yield for new and repeat parts. Stay current with the latest manufacturing techniques, tooling, work-holding, and inserts that improve precision and reduce production costs. Qualifications (Needed) Recent graduate from a manufacturing, engineering, or industrial degreed program required (Associate or Bachelor's). 0-2 years of relevant experience; internships or co-op experience in a machine shop, aerospace, or precision manufacturing environment strongly preferred. Experience or strong background in SolidWorks (Certified SolidWorks Professional a plus) and in reading / interpreting blueprints and GD&T. Strong background in basic manufacturing concepts — Swiss screw, turning, multi-axis milling, and grinding exposure preferred. Proven ability to analyze process, job cost, and engineering data to drive decisions on set-up, run time, and optimal lot sizes (strong data-driven mindset). Understanding of lean manufacturing principles. Strong PC skills; experience with ERP manufacturing software (EPICOR a plus). Strong organizational, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Physical:
able to sit/stand for long periods, walk long distances through the building, push/pull up to 25 lbs. A bit about us:
