In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, optimizing, and maintaining manufacturing processes to ensure efficient, high-quality output across our manufacturing facility. Your expertise will drive continuous improvement initiatives, streamline operations, and support the integration of advanced manufacturing technologies. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge manufacturing solutions in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence and innovation. Duties Read and fully understand engineering drawings and associated customer specifications. Method of Manufacture development and approval. Tooling statements of work and design approvals. Vendor/Supplier management and support. o Program schedule through FAI with Program support after FAI. Revise and/or improve product methods of manufacture as required in the company's
EPICOR ERP
system. Data entry, maintenance, and improvement of the ERP system. Programming of the Gerber cutter. Provide technical assistance throughout the manufacturing process. Meet deadlines as assigned by VP engineering or Aerobond top management. Interact with shop floor personnel, customers, vendors, suppliers, and upper management on a regular basis. Monitor and improve safety in manufacturing operations by addressing ergonomic and other safety concerns as required. Other duties as assigned by VP engineering. Adhere to all OSHA safety requirements and ABC safety procedures. Adhere to Export Compliance Program Provide management with accurate, well organized Basis of Estimates, including supplier quotes, receiving, and organizing all vendor/supplier costs of parts, raw materials and tooling; estimates of internal labor, outside processes, and non-recurring effort.
New Product Introduction which includes:
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field; advanced certifications are a plus. Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of factory operations and assembly lines. Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, and CAM programming tools for process simulation and tooling design. Hands-on experience with robotics programming, welding techniques, CNC programming (including G-code), and vision inspection systems. 2+ years of manufacturing engineering experience. Manufacturing Engineering degree.
