Manufacturing Engineer Direct Hire Opportunity with Superior Skilled Trades Position Summary We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to plan, develop, and improve manufacturing processes within a composites environment. This role supports new product introduction, cost estimating, process development, and continuous improvement across production operations. Key Responsibilities Review engineering drawings and customer specifications Develop cost estimates including materials, labor, tooling, and vendor pricing Support New Product Introduction (NPI) from concept through first article inspection (FAI) Create and improve methods of manufacture within ERP systems Provide technical support to production teams and troubleshoot manufacturing issues Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams Maintain and improve data within ERP systems Support programming and operation of manufacturing equipment (e.g., cutting systems) Promote safety and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards Qualifications 2+ years of manufacturing engineering experience Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field Experience in composites manufacturing is a plus Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, cost estimating, and production workflows Ability to work cross-functionally with shop floor, vendors, and leadership Work Environment Combination of office and manufacturing floor setting Must be able to work in a fast-paced production environment INDH
