In this role, you will drive process improvements, optimize production workflows, and ensure manufacturing excellence across our facilities. Your expertise will help streamline operations, enhance product quality, and support continuous improvement initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge manufacturing processes and work with advanced CNC equipment. Typical work hours are 7-4:30PM M-F. Responsibilities Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for new and existing aerospace components. Interpret engineering drawings and 3D models to support manufacturing development Design and detail tooling and fixtures to support efficient, repeatable, and high-quality production processes. Create manufacturing work processes & operation sheets Collaborate with internal teams including Quality, and Production to ensure smooth implementation of processes. Provide technical support to the shop floor, troubleshooting manufacturing issues and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Utilize SolidWorks & Mastercam software to develop, modify, and review models and tool designs. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications in process engineering are a plus. Proven experience working in a manufacturing facility with hands-on knowledge of CNC Lathes/Mills and tooling. Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in CAD design (SolidWorks), CAM programming, CNC programming, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and schematics development. Experience in project scheduling, root cause analysis techniques such as 5S or Fishbone diagrams, and implementing continuous improvement strategies. Knowledge of industrial standards including
ISO 9001
compliance is essential for maintaining quality management systems. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with strong communication abilities to collaborate across teams effectively. 8-10 years in a manufacturing environment
