Job Description:
Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer - High-Volume Environment ???? Durham, CT (Onsite) | No sponsorship provided | Are you a Manufacturing Engineer with experience in high-volume production looking to take on a role with both technical and business impact? We're hiring a Manufacturing Engineer III to support a fast-paced, precision metal manufacturing environment serving the medical device industry. Full?time | M-F 8am- 5pm | Durham, CT (Onsite) Must be authorized to work. US Citizen or Green Card holder ? What We're Looking For 7+ years of manufacturing engineering and process improvement experience Background in high-volume manufacturing environments (required) Strong understanding of: Cycle times, scrap rates, and cost drivers Experience with: Progressive stamping (highly preferred) CNC machining or metal manufacturing processes Experience supporting NPI and process improvement initiatives Exposure to or experience with costing/quoting ???? What You'll Do This is a dual-impact role combining manufacturing engineering and costing: ????
Manufacturing / Process
Engineering (70%) Drive process improvements in high-volume production Lead new product introductions (NPI) Develop tooling, fixtures, and optimized manufacturing processes Identify and solve production issues using root cause analysis Apply lean manufacturing to improve efficiency, quality, and cost ????
Costing / Quoting
(30%) Review engineering drawings (GD&T) Determine manufacturing methods and cost drivers Build cost estimates for new business opportunities Partner cross-functionally to support new program wins ????
