Job Description
At AeroFlow Technologies, we specialize in creating complex tube and duct assemblies using high-performance materials capable of withstanding extreme pressure, temperature, and chemical interactions. We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support and improve manufacturing operations at our Middletown, Connecticut facility. In this role, you will work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to enhance process efficiency, solve technical challenges, and drive continuous improvement. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment.
So, what will you be doing as a Manufacturing Engineer?
Support day-to-day manufacturing operations by troubleshooting process issues and implementing solutionsDevelop and improve manufacturing processes, work instructions, and standard operating proceduresPartner with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, and costAssist in new product introduction (NPI), including process development and tooling supportUtilize 3D modeling tools to support fixture design and process improvementsAnalyze production data to identify trends and opportunities for efficiency and cost reductionParticipate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities for quality issuesSpend time on the shop floor working directly with operators and supervisors to drive improvementsTo be successful in this role, youll need:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field13 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in aerospace or a highly regulated industryExperience with 3D modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks, NX, or similar)Strong problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings (GD&T knowledge preferred)Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionallyProject management experience is highly desired, but not requiredA hands-on, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and growReasons Youll Love It HereWe offer a full suite of employee benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance; as well as paid vacation, paid personal time, and various opportunities to give back to your local community.
