We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Intern for our Waterbury, CT manufacturing facility. This role will work within the Manufacturing Engineering department alongside experienced engineers and mentors, contributing to real-world projects that support our operations and product development. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain practical engineering experience while making meaningful contributions to the business.
What You Will Do:
Work directly with Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor to design, document, and validate new components and products Collect, analyze, and interpret manufacturing and test data Build, document, and validate electro-mechanical test stations as needed Conduct testing, analyze results, and prepare formal reports outlining findings and recommendations Support continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing operations
What We Are Looking For:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering (4-year degree program) Strong mathematical skills and mechanical aptitude Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email for effective communication and documentation Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions Ability to stand or sit for extended periods (up to 8 hours per day) as required
Additional Characteristics:
Moderate noise level in the manufacturing environment May be exposed to industrial cleaning chemicals and oils
