Job Description

About the Role As a New Product Quality Engineer, you will serve as a critical link between design and production, ensuring that complex components meet rigorous precision standards. You will leverage your technical expertise in metrology and process validation to drive product quality from initial development through full-scale manufacturing. Responsibilities Design and optimize CMM inspection programs using PC-DMIS and MCOSMOS to ensure high-accuracy measurement of machined parts. Translate complex engineering drawings and CAD models into robust inspection strategies that guarantee product conformance. Execute Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and Gage R&R studies to ensure the reliability and repeatability of all inspection data. Develop comprehensive quality documentation, including Control Plans, First Article Inspections (FAI), and PPAP packages to meet customer specifications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot manufacturing processes and implement corrective actions that improve overall yield. Maintain strict compliance with quality management systems and safety protocols to foster a culture of continuous improvement. Qualifications Required Skills 3+ years of professional experience in CMM programming and metrology. Deep proficiency in GD&T, blueprint interpretation, and advanced inspection methodologies. Proven track record of managing quality assurance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Demonstrated ability to utilize statistical analysis tools like Minitab or SPC to interpret measurement data. U.S. Citizenship required. Preferred Skills Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline. Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality standards. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to drive initiatives independently.
