Based on experience About Us Gun Dog Armory is expanding into advanced additive manufacturing and product development. We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to help develop, manufacture, and improve innovative products using 3D printing and modern design software. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a growing business where your ideas and technical skills can directly impact product development and manufacturing operations. Responsibilities Create, modify, and optimize 3D models using CAD software Prepare and manage files for 3D printing Operate, monitor, and maintain 3D printers Troubleshoot print failures and improve print quality Assist with product design, prototyping, and testing Document manufacturing processes and procedures Maintain production schedules and quality standards Organize digital files and design documentation Research new materials, equipment, and manufacturing techniques Collaborate with management on new product development projects Assist with scaling prototypes into production-ready products Preferred Qualifications Experience with Fusion 360, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar CAD software Experience with FDM 3D printing (Bambu Labs experience is a plus) Understanding of manufacturing principles and quality control Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects Experience with additive manufacturing, engineering, machining, or product development is preferred Bonus Skills Engineering, manufacturing, or technical education Product design experience CAM programming experience CNC machining experience Laser engraving or laser cutting experience Small business or startup experience Experience documenting technical processes and procedures What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys building, creating, solving problems, and continuously improving processes. We are looking for a self-starter who can take ownership of projects and help transform ideas into finished products.
