Technical support 3D modeling for product design Bachelor's degree Attention to detail Manufacturing company experience Full Job Description Based in Hollywood, FL, Sintavia, LLC designs and additively manufactures critical components for the Aerospace, Defense, & Space industry. We are seeking a career-minded individual for the position of Quality Engineer III, preferably someone who is looking for long-term growth and potential. In addition to the job description below, candidates must possess an eye for detail and the ability to multi-task at a quick pace.
SUMMARY:
Ensuring products meet customer requirements utilizing 3D CAD skills to create dimensional inspection reports from structured light scans, CMM and X-Ray tomography data.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Creating structured light scan inspection templates utilizing GOM. Reviewing and interpreting CMM and X-Ray tomography data. Direct involvement with maintaining AS9100 standards and other quality accreditations. Align process documentation with process capabilities. Review of AM build documentation to assess product quality Analyze and implement customer requirements into existing systems and processes. Provides technical assistance to inspection areas and additive manufacturing teams. Participate in design reviews, development and support of PFMEA / Control Plans. Interact with customers, suppliers, designers, and others to assist in resolving design, development, production, and acceptance issues. Provide technical consultation to management and lead project teams. Assist in other tasks as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Demonstrated interpersonal, collaborative, and relationship-building skills; ability to interact positively with teammates at various levels across the company and customers. Self-motivated, able to multi-task, and detail oriented. Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills. Knowledge of GD&T. Background checks will be completed on all candidates considered for hire.
REQUIREMENTS
3+ years of design CAD experience within manufacturing. Easily adapt to new organizations / technical environments.
PREFERRED
AS9100 or ISO9001 work environment experience Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in a technical or related field.
