Shift:
4/10-1st Shift (Shift hours are Mon-Thurs 5 AM-3:30 PM EST)
Summary:
Designs manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for CCA and module assemblies. Interprets engineering prints to design processes and works with design engineering to implement production improvements. Designs, procures, and implements tooling to support manufacturing processes. May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan. Inspects performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency. Investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality. Provides guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques. Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations and specifications. Understands how the circuit card assembly process works.
Preferred:
Cable harness experience and electromechanical subassembly experience.
Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR). Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related field. Ability to read and write English. Experience designing manufacturing processes and production layouts for circuit card assemblies and module assemblies. Ability to interpret engineering prints to design processes. Experience designing, procuring, and implementing tooling for manufacturing processes. Ability to incorporate inspection and test requirements into production plan. Experience inspecting machinery, equipment, and tools to verify efficiency. Knowledge of initiating corrective action for problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.
