Job Description:

We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer for a precision manufacturing company in Sarasota, FL . This role will support daily production operations, improve manufacturing processes, and drive continuous improvement across machining and assembly environments.

DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and optimize manufacturing processes Design jigs, fixtures, and tooling using SolidWorks Support production troubleshooting and throughput improvement Lead Lean initiatives including 5S and Kaizen Maintain SOPs, PFMEAs, and control plans Train operators on new processes and equipment

REQUIREMENTS

5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience Proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D modeling and drawings Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles ERP or MRP system experience Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or similar

Plusses:

CNC, sheet metal, or plastics experience Six Sigma knowledge

Compensation:

$70,000 to $80,000. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
